Interview with Dr. David P. Gushee

Recently I had the pleasure of interviewing my ethics professor Dr. David P. Gushee about his newest book The Moral Teachings of Jesus. 

Here is a novel idea: let's actually take a look at what Jesus said. 

You don’t have to be a Christian, believer or follower of Christ to take what Jesus said seriously. Much of it has a universal human quality and ethic to it that makes it hard to argue with. In the interview, Gushee mentions forgiveness as an example. We all have reasons and justifications to not forgive yet we know inside that there is a better way. A more human way. A way we would like to be regarded and treated.
